Challenge: Introduce TD Ameritrade’s latest iteration of Command Center, a tool for research, trading, and investing from a single screen. The target audience, active traders, has no time for extra—anything.
Solution: I kept the pace and tone of the page as efficient and rapid as an active trader. I focused on what I knew they needed, and consequently got, from Command Center 2.0. In this case, I used emotion sparingly, and when I did, it was words such as “control,” “headquarters,” and “a moment’s notice.”
