Banner Ad - The New Yorker - Concept

Challenge: The New Yorker wanted to increase subscriptions to The New Yorker Digital  but they encountered the perception that they are not technologically current.

 

Solution: The designer and I concepted a banner ad targeting tech, culture, art, and politically-savvy 30-50-year-olds. In three short phrases, I captured the considerable consumer benefit of the product, along with the ease and mobility of the digital format. I used the word “need” to suggest urgency throughout.
